The Port of San Diego has a great environmental story to tell, and Hornblower has
provided a platform to tell it every day of the year! Our Green Harbor Cruises are
now available for visitors who want to learn more about the environmental projects
on the San Diego Bay.
Taking a new approach to harbor tours and whale watching,
the Adventure Hornblower takes visitors on a one or two hour Green Harbor Tour of
the San Diego Bay. These new environmentally-focused cruises highlight prominent
landmarks and eco-friendly projects including habitat restoration and Leadership
in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) -certified buildings.
Hornblower worked
with the Port of San
Diego , San Diego Natural History Museum
and the San Diego Oceans Foundation to create a new tour script and onboard displays
to educate as well as entertain our guests. By sharing environmentally sound practices
with our visitors, Hornblower encourages people to make eco-friendly choices in
their own lives.
